A new Apple product, Macys, is getting a new smart home control system called Smart Home.
The product, which is also available for preorder, gives Apple the power to control various aspects of the home from a smartphone.
The new Home app lets users access and control the entire system via voice commands, with the goal of simplifying the installation process and reducing maintenance costs.
The feature, which can be installed on the Macs newest model, will make it easier for people to live a more natural, more connected lifestyle.
“The most important thing for people is that they’re able to control everything,” Apple VP of Home and HomeKit, Tony Fadell, told Wired.
“That’s what you’re looking for in a smart home.
It allows you to control your thermostat, control your lights, you can control your refrigerator, and you can turn on the lights, and everything that you’re doing with your appliances, it’s all controlled by voice.”
The feature works with Siri on Macs, iOS devices, and Android phones.
It’s similar to HomeKit on other Apple devices.
Apple has been working on a new feature called HomeKit for a while now, but it was originally slated to arrive in the new Macs in October.
The first Macs to support HomeKit were the MacBook Pros, which debuted in April 2018.
The newest MacBook Pros also have Siri on the back, but the new MacBook Pros will be able to integrate Siri and other HomeKit features with the Mac, so it’s not yet clear if the feature will be available on the new model as well.
