A new report from Equilar estimates that home prices have gone down 4% since the end of 2014, and that there are now only 5.7 million homeowners who can afford to buy their home, according to data compiled by Mashable.
According to the report, more than half of those homeowners can afford a two-bedroom home with a 2.75-foot (6.2-meter) walk-in closet.
However, there are some homeowners who are struggling to make ends meet, and they’re left with fewer options for living, housing, and entertainment.
